	About the Artists...Diane Sams and Jody Winter
	Diane Sams is the primary artist for Fool Moon. Her natural talents were enhanced by study at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC. Diane's combination of wit and delicate artistry have been charming her customers since 1969. Diane originally crafted jewelry and sculpture in sterling silver and 14k gold, but since many people who loved her creations were unable to afford those materials, she switched to lead free pewter. The switch to pewter allowed her to develop a production oriented line, rather than the one of a kind pieces she had been producing. One of the addtional benefits of switching to pewter was the incredible amount of detail possible in that metal. Now, after years with Fool Moon, she is once again creating one of a kind jewelry which will be available on the web site. Jody Winter tackles the business side of Fool Moon, while continuing her career as a physical therapist, focusing on evaluation and prescription of specialized wheelchairs. If there is any free time, she creates beaded necklaces and treasures. These too will be available on the web site soon!
